Lexar has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the Lexar Professional 1800x SDHC/SDXC UHS-II Card GOLD Series in the Indian market. Engineered for photographers, videographers, and digital content creators, the company claims that this card sets a new benchmark for high-speed performance and durability with a read speed of 280 MB per second.

The Lexar Professional 1800x SDXC UHS-II Card GOLD Series comes in multiple storage variants priced at Rs 3,500 for 64GB, Rs. 5,900 for 128GB, Rs. 11,000 for 256GB, and Rs. 24,000 for 512GB. The series is available for purchase from offline and online stores in India.

The card comes with 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. It uses the UHS-II interface, allowing users to take full HD and 4K photographs and videos. The cards come with speeds of up to 280MB per second (read) and up to 210MB per second (write) for the 64GB and 128GB variants, and up to 280MB per second (read) and up to 205MB per second (write) for 256GB and 512GB variants.
The company claims that the new card minimises internal buffers in file transfer with its cutting-edge technology offering a transfer speed of 280MB per second allowing users to transfer raw pictures and videos within minutes for the post-production processes. The cards have operating temperatures ranging from 0℃ to 70℃ (32℉ to 158℉), and storage temperatures ranging from -25℃ to 85℃ (-13℉ to 185℉).
The Lexar 1800x is water-resistant and X-ray-proof. It weighs 2.0 gm, with 32 mm x 24 mm x 2.1 mm dimensions. The company also claims that the cards are backwards compatible with UHS-I devices. Lastly, the card comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
