OnePlus Ace 2 Pro confirmed to feature 24GB RAM

OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will launch in August. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to be released in China first, and it is not yet known if it will be released in other markets. The company announced that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be the first smartphone to feature the world’s first aerospace-grade 3D cooling. In a new teaser, the company confirmed the RAM variants of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The teaser confirmed that the smartphone will feature 12GB of RAM, eliminating the 8GB variant with its upcoming flagship smartphones. The company also added that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be come in 16GB and 24GB RAM options apart from the 12 GB base variant.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launch timeline
OnePlus took to Weibo, where it officially confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will launch in China in August. According to the Weibo post, the smartphone will come with a Tiangong cooling system, which is claimed to be the first “aerospace-grade diamond thermally conductive gel and aerospace-grade superconducting thermal graphite” 3D cooling system. The company claims it would be the “most powerful VC in the industry at present, and this VC is at least two generations ahead of the industry.”
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro: Expected features
If rumours are to be believed, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to feature up to 12GB/24GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone is said to pack a 5500mAh battery with 150W charging support. The smartphone is expected to feature a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. On the back, it will come equipped with a 50 MP main sensor, a 48 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32 MP telephoto lens.
The Ace 2 Pro could run ColorOS 13.1 based on the Android 13 operating system. It will likely come with other features, such as an IR blaster, an alert slider, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
