Intel’s newly-announced Xeon W-3495X has revolutionized the processor market with its latest “Sapphire Rapids” CPU, setting a new world record by reaching an overall frequency of 4.2 GHz and pulling over 1000W.

The new processor use a unique “Intel Advanced Ooffset Technology” to increase performance by individually managing the allocated current power to the processor cores, reducing the power leakage that comes with overclocking. The CPU is supported by LGA1400 socket and aimed at workstations and high-end professional level desktops.

The processor came pre-overclocked to 4.2GHz, With a stable 4.2GHz the processor was able to pull over 1000W from the power supply, the highest ever achieved by a single processor. The processor was also able to run other benchmark tests with scores of 4050 single-thread, 33600 multi-threaded performance and 54455 QPC.

The overclocked CPU was also able to surpass the previous Intel Skylake-X flagship processor Xeon W-3175X, which clocked a single-thread frequency of 4.1GHz and a multi-threaded score of 38780, despite being twice its power. The Xeon W-3495X has made it clear that it’s capable of doing a lot of work with just half the power the older processor required.

The Sapphire Rapids processor is the first in Intel’s lineup of new Xeon processors that is designed for advanced workloads and heavily intensive applications. With such high levels of performance and tremendous power savings, the Xeon W-3495X is set to revolutionize the industry as one of the most powerful processors on the market.

Overall, Intel’s new processor is a great option for those looking for the best performance for their workloads. It has set a new world record for overclocking, showcasing its impressive performance capabilities, and thanks to its advanced offset technology, has proven that it can maximize efficiency and power savings. Users can expect strong performance from the Xeon W-3495X that will meet and exceed all their expectations.
