Alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX AD106 GPU Benchmarks Leak Out, On Par With RTX 3070 Ti

Recent rumors have spread of alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card benchmarks that seem to be on par with the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.

The rumors come from the controversial leaker Coreteks, which has been posting claims of upcoming desktop graphics cards for some time now. According to Coreteks’ post on the Overclockers Forum, the new GPU benchmarks seem to be from an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti card. The card is codenamed “AD106” and appears to be part of a larger Turing-class GPU family.

The benchmark leaked by Coreteks on the 20th of April consists of scores from 3DMark Fire Strike, Time Spy and Unigine Heaven. It shows impressively high results when compared with the RX 6700 XT. The AD106 benchmarked at 20,237 in the Fire Strike test, with 8,372 points in Time Spy, and a score of 3,934 on Unigine Heaven.

The leaked benchmarks, though impressive, have yet to be officially confirmed by NVIDIA. No official statements have been issued about the AD106, let alone the RTX 3070 Ti. Rumors are circulating that the AD106 could be unveiled sometime in the months ahead, but other than that, little else is known.

Despite the rumors and the impressive scores, no one should be getting too excited just yet. Until NVIDIA officially reveals the AD106, all of these claims are nothing but speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt, as official confirmation is all we can really trust. Still, it’s exciting to see how the AD106 stacks up against the RX 6700 XT, if these benchmarks are any indication of how things will turn out.
