The 2008 video game Dead Space has been freshly remade and re-released, and fans of the game have much to be excited about. The classic horror title has already been dubbed as “better than ever before” by many, and seems to be well-received by players.

One of the most anticipated updates with the remake is the introduction of the New Game+ mode, a feature only available in select titles. In this mode, players can pick up where they left off in their playthroughs, unlocking more weapons, gear, and levels. Much to the joy of fans, new story content has been added with this mode, including additional end-game achievements and rewards.

Another much-anticipated upgrade with Dead Space’s remake is that the frustrating map system has finally been simplified. Now, players will seemlessly transition between levels without having to search for where to go next, alleviating a major point of annoyance that accompanied the original release. Furthermore, now each level has its own map which will be displayed on the screen, drastically improving the navigation system from the previous game.

As a whole, the reception of Dead Space’s remake has been overwhelmingly positive. With the new game+ mode and simplified map system, it’s no wonder fans are already falling in love with this new release. If you’re a fan of horror games, or are just looking for something new, Dead Space’s remake is definitely worth checking out.
