Gran Turismo fans have a lot to look forward to, as the upcoming Gran Turismo 7 is set to be released on the PlayStation VR2 at launch. The official Gran Turismo account on Twitter also teased a first look at the upcoming Gran Turismo movie, which is being produced by Sony Pictures in association with Polyphony Digital.

As promised, the Gran Turismo finals will take place as part of the PlayStation Experience at the Paris Grand Prix this November, and the new Gran Turismo 7 will be part of the experience. Fans of the series will be able to get a first look at the game in action, and even compete in the game’s highly anticipated Gran Turismo Championship series.

The Gran Turismo 7 will be fully playable on the PlayStation VR2 at launch, and will feature some of the best graphics, performance and physics of the series. Players will experience the acclaimed simulation levels of Gran Turismo 7, as well as advanced virtual reality technology for the most immersive racing experience available.

In addition to the PlayStation VR2 launch of the Gran Turismo 7, the first teaser for the Gran Turismo Movie was also released. The movie is an officially licensed adaptation of the beloved racing game series, focusing on the rivalry between a racer and an automotive mogul. The movie is set to be released in 2021, and while it isn’t clear what platforms it will be released on, it will likely be released on the major streaming services.

Fans of the series won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on Gran Turismo 7, as it is set to launch in 2020. The movie trailer and PlayStation VR2 launch of the game are already generating a lot of excitement for the series and its fans, and the launch will no doubt be a milestone for the Gran Turismo franchise.
