Apex Legends’ Next Character “Ballistic” Leaks, Classes Reportedly Getting a Big Rework

Apex Legends is going through a complete rework of their character roles and classes, as a new leak appears to have revealed the game’s upcoming playable character.

The leak’s source claims that “Ballistic” will be the game’s next playable character. He is described as a “Mid-Range” character, meaning he will be able to fire weapons and use ability at mid-range distances. His primary weapon is said to be an assault rifle.

The leak also reveals that the game’s class system is being reworked. Currently, each character belongs to a specific class (e.g. Pathfinder as a Recon, Bloodhound as a Tracker, etc.). The new system will allow players to choose from a selection of characters, each with their own unique abilities that can be customized to fit different play styles.

This new system would make playing Apex Legends more enjoyable for many players. Instead of choosing a character and being forced to play that character a certain way, now players can experiment and find the loadout and playstyle that best suits them. Additionally, having characters designed to work at mid-range distances could offer an interesting shift in the meta.
