Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Targeting Fall 2023 Launch, Claims Writer

Much to the delight of comic-book fans, it appears that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could be on the cards for a fall 2023 launch.

The news comes from a tweet from the film’s writer, Chris McKenna, which states that he is “officially working on Spider-Man 2 – targeted for a Fall 2023 launch”. This follows on from the success of the first Spider-Man movie, which was released in 2018 and was a box-office smash.

This will be the first major Marvel production to hit the screens since Avengers: Endgame, and it looks set to be an exciting one. Spider-Man is widely considered to be the flagship character of the Marvel universe, and this sequel is sure to be full of the same action and humour that we saw in the first movie.

The film will focus on the story of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland. In the last movie, he managed to save the world and was made an honorary Avenger. It will be interesting to see how this affects his character arc and what challenges he will face.
